About Maqadi
Last updated: 21 October 2026
The name
In Saudi Arabia, مقاضي (maqadi) is the everyday word for the household shopping run, the coffee, rice, water and other things bought again every month. Maqadi makes that monthly order arrive by itself: a store's customers subscribe once, and every order after the first is created on schedule.
What Maqadi does
Maqadi is a subscription and repeat-order app for online stores on Salla, and later on Zid. Customers choose “Subscribe and save” on the product page and how often they want the product. Maqadi creates each following order on time, reminds the customer before it, and lets them pause, skip, swap or cancel by themselves in a customer portal. The store sees its subscribers, upcoming orders and failed payments in one dashboard.
Payments go through the store's own Salla or Zid checkout, either as an automatic card charge or as a payment link before each order. Money never passes through Maqadi, and no card numbers are stored.
Where it runs
The app and this website run on Oracle Cloud in the Jeddah region of Saudi Arabia (me-jeddah-1). Subscriptions, schedules and customer details are stored and processed there. The data residency statement lists every location.
Where it stands
Maqadi is in beta. We are building it together with a small group of stores, and it is free for them until launch. The live demo shows how it will work; to take part, join the beta.
The company
Maqadi is a service of Yimello LLC, a software company registered in the United Arab Emirates (Sharjah Media City (Shams), Al Messaned, Al Bataeh, Sharjah, Trade License 2430802.01). Yimello also runs Sahifa, which makes invoices and packing slips for Salla and Zid stores on the same servers in Jeddah, and provides software development services described on yimello.dev.
