Maqadi is in beta. This guide describes how the app works for beta stores; details may still change before launch.

Your first subscription plan

A plan says which product can be subscribed, how often it can be delivered and at what discount. Start with one product your customers already buy every month.

Create the plan

1. Open Maqadi in your Salla admin and go to Plans.
2. Select New plan and choose a product (or several products that share the same rules).
3. Choose the frequencies you offer, for example every 2 weeks and every month. See frequencies and discounts.
4. Set the subscriber discount, for example 10%.
5. Save. The subscribe option now appears on the product page.

Test it yourself

1. Open the product in your store as a customer and choose Subscribe and save.
2. Complete the checkout with a real card you own. This creates the first order and the subscription.
3. In Maqadi, open Subscribers: your test subscription is listed with its next order date.
4. Open the customer portal from the confirmation message and try a pause or a skip.
5. Cancel the test subscription from the portal, and refund the test order in Salla as usual.

Good first products

• Things that run out: coffee, water, dates, pet food, supplements, baby care.
• Products with a predictable rhythm: customers who already reorder every few weeks.
• Items with stable stock, so a subscriber's order is never left waiting.
