Maqadi is in beta. This guide describes how the app works for beta stores; details may still change before launch.
Install on Salla
Installing takes a few minutes. You need to be the owner of the Salla store, or have permission to install apps.
Before you start
- Your store has at least one active payment method that accepts cards. Subscriptions charged automatically need a saved card; see payments.
- During the beta, your store must be on our beta list. Join the beta if you have not yet.
Install the app
- In your Salla admin, open the App Store and search for Maqadi (مقاضي).
- Select Install and review the permissions Maqadi asks for. It needs to read your products, create orders and manage subscriptions; the full list and the reasons are on the app privacy page.
- Confirm. Maqadi opens inside your Salla admin and reads your products.
Switch on recurring payments
Salla keeps recurring payments switched off in every store until you allow them. On first start, Maqadi asks for your consent and then switches them on for your store. Nothing is charged until a customer subscribes.
Which payment methods can be charged automatically depends on your store's payment setup. During the beta we check this with you for your store before your first subscriber.
Next steps
- Create your first plan.
- Check how the subscribe option looks on your product page.
- Review the reminder messages.
Removing the app
You can uninstall Maqadi at any time from your Salla admin. Active subscriptions stop renewing, and your data is deleted as described on the app privacy page. Orders already created stay in your store.
